4′ 6″ Commando Cloth – Economical Drapery and Stage Masking Fabric
Chicago Canvas & Supply’s 4′ 6″ wide 16 oz. Commando Cloth fabric is a little heavier than Duvetyne 12 oz fabric, another popular theater fabric purchase. This fabric great for stage drapery and window blackouts. It can be used as a lighter, inexpensive alternative to theatrical velour. Commando Cloth is widely used by stage scenarists and set designers because it is light absorbent, napped, and has a brushed matte surface to work with. Another important feature to note is this is a flame resistant fabric. Priced by the running yard, Commando Cloth is available in beige, blueberry, cranberry, fire red, forest green, grey, and white.
